Veus has expanded its presence in Australia with the acquisition of Data Action (DA), a provider of basic and digital bank solutions.

The agreement is the initial purchase of the volar of an Australian banking company and extends the company’s imprint to the region, complementing its existing insurance technology business, SSP.

The data action was established in 1986 through a collaboration of eight local credit cooperatives and is headquartered in Adelaida, Australia del South.

The company offers a wide range of solutions to financial institutions across the country.

It is addressed to a diverse clientele, which includes customer -owned banks, credit cooperatives, challenger banks and organizations of financial services members.

DA currently serves as a bank platform for the Challenger banks, managing more than five million customers’ accounts in all Australia.

Operating nationally, the data action employs staff from large cities such as Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The head of the Venean portfolio, Ateet Patel, said: “We are happy to welcome DA to Vendora. As a trusted technological partner in many of the financial banks and institutions of Australia, DA provides a history of strong innovation and we are excited to support continuous success and the growth of DA and his clients.

“DA’s basic and digital bank solutions, together with its technological services, perfectly complement our existing ecosystem and the current acquisition demonstrates the reinforcement position of Venestra in Australia and the global banking technology industry.”

With this acquisition, data action becomes 18th Mark under the umbrella of Venestra.

The company will retain its brand identity and continue to work independently, while benefiting from the knowledge and best practices of the Venestor Industry.
