Jim has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years and joined Argus in 1993. He is director of Research in Argus and a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Jim has been instrumental in constructing argus -owned rating models, which are a key part of the six -point rating system in the Argus. He also oversees Argus Technical Analysis products; Write the portfolio selection report and other publications; and manages several portfolios of the Argus model. As a senior analyst, Jim covers communications, semiconductors, information processing and electronic manufacturing service companies. He is a CFA headline and is winner three times in the “Best On the Street” survey of Wall Street Journal. In July 2010, McGraw-Hill Professional published Jim’s book, “Equity Valuation for Analysis & Investors”. The book, a single volume treatment of the financial modeling and evaluation process, introduces the argus -owned valuation methodology known as peer derived value.
