Qatar has agreed to buy up to 210 Boeing aircraft in which the President of the United States, Donald Trump, greeted as the greatest order of jets in the history of the North -American Aerospace Company while visiting the Gulf State.
The White House announced financial offers worth more than $ 243 million, as Qatar became the last country rich in oil to win plane from the President to buy in his “America First” investment policy, as he traveled the golf in search of commercial recruitment offers.
Qatar Airways, the state national carrier, had accepted a $ 96 million agreement to purchase up to 210 Boeing 787 aircraft 787 and 777x, said that the White House added that it was Boeing’s largest “largest body order”.
“Congratulations to Boeing. Get these aircraft,” Trump said in a signature ceremony with Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar. “I just want to thank you. We’ve been friends for a long time.”
Boeing shares increased by 2.3 percent on Wednesday. Airline companies usually receive a discount on the list price of the aircraft they buy.
The White House has also achieved other bidders of dollars in defense, energy and technology.
