A man has been arrested for suspicion of fires in relation to a series of fires, included in the family home of Sir Keir Starmer and other assets linked to the Prime Minister.

Metropolitan police said that a 21 -year -old was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday by suspicion of fire with the intention of jeopardizing life.

In a statement, the MET said that the detention related to the fire at the four -bedroom house in Kentish city in the early hours of Monday, as well as a car that set fire to the same street in recent days and a combustion in an office building that has connection with Tight In the N7 postal code.

The fire at the Starmer family house, which the Prime Minister rented to tenants after moving to 10 Downing Street in July last year, caused damage to the entry.

The MET warned on Monday evening that it was still unclear if all three fires were connected, but police against terrorism pursued that as a line of consultation.

Police did not believe that the fire at Starmer’s house was started by an explosive device, but continued to investigate the source of combustion, a person who knew the investigation.

The three fires with possible ties to Starmer will probably increase government concerns about a coordinated campaign against the Prime Minister.

The MET did not immediately say on Tuesday if they were waiting for more arrests to follow.
