“The Danes are angry. Remember that the bodies of the Danish soldiers who sell at home, and now they feel discredit. You can see why a boycott (of U.S. property) needs to be called,” a Danish official said in the FT last month.

Speaking to the investors after the results of the first quarter of Danish beer on Tuesday, Aarup-Andersen said that the smallest local brands were gaining quota from American brands as a result of the boycott, but that the impact on general sales was not “non-dramatic”.

“We fully respect the decisions of the people,” he added, adding that the company was neither a boycott nor a boycott. But he added it Coca-Cola And Pepsi was “both produced by Danish brewer workers in Danish breweries, so they are very, from our perspective, also Danish brands”.

Carlsberg’s comments came when the Danish Brewer reported a larger fall than expected to organic sales volumes of 2.3 percent in the first three months of the year. World sales increased 17.4 percent to DKR20.1bn (2.3 million pounds) in the same period, after being high due to their acquisition of the British United Kingdom refreshing drinks business.

The company added that the sales of Pepsi Max, which are distributed and distributed throughout Europe, were in all markets. The figures did not include Pepsi’s sales in Denmark, where Carlsberg has no license to provide the product, suggesting that the boycott of the refreshing drinks in the United States was limited to Denmark.

Coca-Cola also reported results on Tuesday. The company’s net revenue fell 2 percent in the first quarter to $ 11.1 million, but said that he hoped that the fall of changes to “world commercial dynamics” would be manageable this year.
