The Indonesia, BDO and MVGX accounting company, based in Singapore, have introduced a new platform promoted by AI to help Indonesian companies with sustainability reports.
The tool is intended to automate data manipulation, in order to reduce both the duration and expense of manual processes.
Companies that use the system are expected to generate reports about half the usual time.
It is said that the platform improves the accuracy of the data reported by automated analysis and structured work flows.
The collaboration began in September 2023, focused initially on carbon -related solutions through the MVGX carbon service.
It has since been expanded to address the wider environmental, social and governance requirements.
The platform aims to support companies to comply with local regulations and world standards.
Included guidelines established by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the International Sustainability of the Board of Sustainability Rules (ISSB).
Key functions include an engine of inference and owner and a localized emission factor factor database. These components guide companies step by step through the information process.
An online form and a questionnaire are included to promote uniformity and simplify communications, especially for companies in public exchanges. It is intended to support regulatory compliance and ease of use.
Extended collaboration reflects an effort of the two companies to help companies respond to changing expectations of sustainability and corporate transparency.
It also points to a step towards digital tools in environmental information.
