BP AWARDS EPCI contract to Subseea Integration Alliance for Trinidad Offshore Project

BP has granted an engineering, recruitment, construction and installation contract (EPCI) to Subseea Integration Alliance (SIA) for the Ginger Project Offshore Trinitat and Tobago project.

He was awarded under a recently established global framework agreement between BP and Sia Partners SLB Onesubsea and Subea7.

It is considered to be a “substantial” contract for Subseea7.

For the ginger project, Sube7 is commissioned to provide a bonding system installed for divers, a flexible flow of production and a related infrastructure.

The contribution of SLB Onesubsea includes the delivery of four standardized vertical monobore vertical trees and tube hangers, adapted for delivery and fast installation.

In addition, SLB ONESUBSEA will provide what is said to be the first group of high -integrity pressure protection system in the region, promising significant advances in environmental safety, efficiency and benefits.

The development of ginger is on the southeastern coast of Trinidad in the water depths of 90 m.

The project management and engineering activities will immediately begin at the Subseea7 office in Houston, Texas, with the operations outside the Margieh next year.
