Oil prices fell on Thursday on the signs that the United States and Iran were approaching an agreement of the Tehran nuclear program.
Brent Crude prices, the international reference point, were reduced by 3.7 percent to $ 63.68 after Donald Trump said that the United States were in “serious negotiations” with Iran. Prices were slightly bouncing to trade about $ 63.98 per barrel.
“We are in very serious negotiations with Iran for Peace in the long run,” Trump said during a golf tour, according to a report from the AFP pool.
The prices for West Texas Intermediate, the US reference point, traded 3.2 percent lower at $ 61.11 a barrel.
