Jordan Bardella confirms far -right career for French President if Le Pen banned

The far-right politician, Jordan Bardella, said that he will become President of France in 2027 if Marine Le Pen, his mentor and de facto leader of his National Distribution Party, is blocked to go through a court judgment.

The sentence in the case of EU embezzlement includes a sentence of two years in prison that would probably be fulfilled at home with an electronic bracelet and a two -year suspension sentence, as well as the five -year election disqualification that is applied even while the case is appealing.

“I consider that when Marine is attacked, I am also attacked. We will continue to work together, in the interest of the movement, our ideas and our political family,” Bardella told Le Parisien.

Bardella, 29, also enjoys high opinion qualifications and has helped the far right movement to expand its call to young people, including through the experienced use of social networks.

According to survey For Toluna Harris for Commstrat and the opinion of opinion earlier this month, Le Pen i Bardella have more support among the French voters of potential candidates for the presidency, with 36 percent of the voters who said they could vote Le Pen in a hypothetical first round and 37 percent of Bardella.

This is slightly ahead of Edouard Philippe, the Mayor of Le Havre and the former Prime Minister under Macron, who has 35 percent support for the vote.
