India said he had carried out “precision strikes” to “terrorist infrastructure” in nine places in Pakistan, describing the attacks as “of a focused, measured and non -climber nature”.
The tensions between the two nuclear armed neighbors have increased since last month when New Delhi blamed Islamabad of a member attack on Kashmir administered by India that killed 26 people.
Although the Indian Ministry of Defense did not specify the locations of the strikes in Pakistan in the early hours of Wednesday morning, he said he was “hitting terrorist infrastructure.”
The ministry added that “no Pakistani military installation has been addressed”, saying that “India has shown a considerable restriction on the selection of goals and the method of execution.”
Pakistan has previously denied any participation in the Kashmir attack last month.
But the two countries have reduced diplomatic relations since the murders, and India has suspended participation in a key treaty for sharing water.
